Andrew Monson and Iain Christie will become non-resident members of 5RB
5RB is delighted to announce that after the completion of her pupillage, Yuli Takatsuki, will be joining chambers as a tenant from 1 October 2008.
From the same date, Andrew Monson and Iain Christie will become non-resident members of 5RB.
In giving the news, the joint heads of 5RB, Desmond Browne QC and Adrienne Page QC, said:
“We have no doubt that all those who came into contact with Yuli during her pupillage will share our assessment that she has the qualities necessary to establish a highly successful career at the Bar.
The two new non-resident members of 5RB will continue in practice through the clerks’ room, but will not have a permanent desk in chambers. They join Gordon Bishop who has practised in this way over the past two years. We believe that this form of arrangement enables long-standing members of chambers as well as those with responsibilities for child care to carry on practice in a more flexible and family-friendly manner. Through 5RB all their links with their clients will be preserved.”
