Last week, 5RB hosted students from BVL, a social mobility charity which provides guidance and opportunities to aspiring lawyers aged 16-18.
Over two days, the students were given talks on defamation by Adrienne Page KC and Hannah Gilliland, harassment by Luke Browne, contempt by Samuel Rowe and misuse of private information by Jacob Dean and Hope Williams. They were also given a view from the clerks’ room by Andrew Love and a tour of legal London by Lily Walker-Parr.
This internship followed a 5RB virtual insight evening held in December.
5RB strongly encourages all eligible students to apply for the next internship, due to take place in 2025.
